Job Description

  • Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly accounting reports, including MIS.
  • Compile and analyze financial information for effective decision-making.
  • Prepare cash flow statements, MIS reports, doctors' performance analyses, and other relevant reports.
  • Present reports and interact with management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all aspects of financial accounting are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager, General Manager, and Administrator.
  • Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
  • Analyze revenue and expenditure trends, recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
  • Recommend, develop, and maintain financial databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
  • Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors to complete audits.
  • Develop the annual operating budget and consult with departmental management on fiscal matters.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly budget variance and financial reports for top management review.
  • Provide accounting policy orientation for new employees.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described, as assigned by the Accounts and Finance Manager.
  • Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards, and procedures, and cooperate with hospital management to meet these requirements.
  • Work in accordance with documented OSH procedures and instructions.
  • Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Notify OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and issues, and assist with the preparation of risk assessments and incident reports.
  • Comply with waste management procedures and policies.
  • Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills, and awareness programs.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Commerce required.
  • Two years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare institution, with demonstrated administrative skills.
  • Excellent command of oral and written English.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Word and Excel, and familiar with accounting software.
