Accountant (US Experienced)

This is a full-time and permanent role based in the US Central timezone.

Umbrella Fund is expanding its finance team and is looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to take on a pivotal role in our accounting department. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of US accounting principles and practices, along with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing financial records, conducting month-end close processes, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. You will play a critical role in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing analytical insights to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the month-end closing processes and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Support the auditing processes by providing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
