Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review detailed civil engineering designs for substation projects.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate civil and electrical designs.
- Oversee and manage the civil engineering aspects of substation construction projects.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise subcontractors and construction crews.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
- Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
- Promote sustainable engineering practices and innovative solutions in project designs.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in civil engineering and substation technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to substation projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and overseeing construction projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
