Overview:

We need a seasoned leader to establish and grow our Egypt-based agile hub in alignment with Airnxt’s global vision. In this role, you’ll be responsible for orchestrating the entire delivery process—shaping product increments, coordinating release events, and ensuring a continuous flow of high-quality deliverables. You will also serve as the operational backbone, managing budgets, compliance, and resource allocation. By merging the responsibilities of traditional delivery management and Release Train Engineering (RTE), you will bridge our strategic objectives with on-the-ground execution to create a world-class agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Hub Setup: Build the local agile hub from scratch, defining processes, setting up infrastructure, and recruiting top talent.
• Delivery Oversight: Manage the full software development lifecycle—using SAFe or similar agile frameworks—ensuring on-time, high-quality releases.
• Release Coordination: Facilitate planning events, align teams on priorities, and remove impediments to maintain a smooth continuous delivery pipeline.
• Operational Management: Develop and manage budgets, ensure compliance with Egyptian regulations, and optimize resource allocation to meet project demands.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work with global leadership and product teams to define business goals, set KPIs, and drive execution across multiple work streams.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide teams, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear updates to clients, partners, and internal teams, keeping everyone aligned on progress and expectations.
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience: 8+ years in software delivery, operations, or leading agile hubs, with a proven track record of building teams from scratch.
• Leadership: History of empowering cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Agile Expertise: Experience implementing and managing large-scale agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum), including Release Train or similar concepts.
• Operational Savvy: Adept at budgeting, contract negotiation, and handling the practical aspects of running a local office.
• Communication: Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. Skilled in presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Egyptian market nuances, regulations, and labor laws.
• Experience working with distributed, global teams.
