Senior Consultant, Security Risk Consulting

Delivery of Security Risk Consulting (SRC) projects and coordination of operational security planning tasks. As a Riyadh based Senior Consultant you will be in a client focused delivery role, supporting clients and other team members to deliver protective and security consulting services.

This role combines operational planning and management, project and personnel management, and direct client interface. It requires commercial and technical knowledge, along with direct relevant experience of delivering across Crisis, Security and Risk disciplines.

Client delivery

- Delivery, management and coordination of security related consulting tasks, with particular emphasis building sustainable, long term client relationships.

- Support the development of innovative security solutions and services that address client needs.

Project management

- Ensure accurate and timely submission of deliverables to meet programme milestones.

- Together with the CSC Director, manage and drive the commercial and quality aspects of client projects.

- Ensure all projects are being delivered on time and in budget.

- Project and resource planning to maximize utilization, working closely with EMEA colleagues.

Business development

- Develop and grow meaningful client relationships that directly contribute to service line targets related to the CSC Saudi Arabia and wider CSC EMEA budget.

- Maintain, build and develop a strong network of existing and future client contacts and consistently develop the company’s positioning with them to enhance business development and secure budget achieving engagements.

Operational delivery

- Undertaking fee earning consultancy, including but not limited to security vulnerability assessments (site/project/supply-chain/business), audits and planning focused tasks.

- Coordinate and monitor specific tasks set by the Worker Village Security Management Team.

- In conjunction with your team members ensure all tasks are set up, managed and monitored effectively.

- Work effectively with client subcontracted security providers

Additional requirements

- Regular liaison with other key Control Risks Consultants, service lines, and teams.

- Ensure that practices, policies, strategy and services are fully aligned with client needs.

- Maintain time and expense records to ensure accurate invoicing in accordance with company procedure.

- Maintenance and management of sub-contractors and coordination of engagements with appropriate contracts and compliance requirements.

Knowledge and Experience:

- Proven ability of operating successfully at a middle to senior level, working as part of team, supporting professional delivery with a focus on quality.

- Proven team player with independent capacity to also work with minimal supervision.

- Experience of operating and delivering projects in a high tempo environment, with additional experience of operating in the Saudi Arabia

- Proven experience of successfully working within teams to reach the strategic and operational goals.

Qualifications and Specialist skills:

- Bachelors (BA) degree or equivalent in-line with security risk management and consulting.

- Exposure to, or delivery of, operational security planning and risk consulting.

- Excellent report, presentation and proposal writing skills in English

- Ability to liaise with and build successful client relationships.

- Ability to quickly assimilate large quantities of new information.
