Senior Azure Engineer

Location: Tagamoa, Cairo – Onsite
Department: Professional Services Team

Role Overview

Senior Azure Engineers lead the design and implementation of complex Microsoft Azure cloud solutions while mentoring mid-level engineers and contributing to client project delivery. This role is ideal for cloud experts who can drive architecture discussions, implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and deliver high-impact solutions within a professional services setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex Azure architectures (IaaS, PaaS, hybrid)
• Lead technical workstreams and Azure-focused transformation projects
• Provide technical mentorship to mid-level engineers
• Develop and review infrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure issues and incidents
• Participate in client workshops and technical delivery sessions
• Conduct Azure Well-Architected Framework reviews and optimization
• Prepare technical documentation and solution diagrams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of core Azure services (VMs, VNet, Azure AD, Storage, AKS, etc.)
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a Professional Services or client delivery environment
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
• Experience with containerized workloads (AKS, Docker)
• Exposure to governance, cost management, and compliance on Azure
