The Associate Director – Culture and Engagement is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and sustaining a culture that reflects the organization’s purpose, values, and aspirations. This role leads the cultural and engagement agenda across the organization, translating leadership vision into initiatives that drive alignment, performance, and connection. The role is also accountable for steering high-impact engagement strategies that amplify the employee experience, strengthen belonging, and build organizational pride.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of the culture and employee engagement strategy across the organization in alignment with leadership direction and business priorities.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing counsel on culture-related risks, opportunities, and insights.
  • Direct and integrate the efforts of the Culture Manager and Engagement & Events Manager to ensure seamless delivery of cross-cutting programs.
  • Build and scale initiatives that promote cultural consistency across business units while allowing for local expression and relevance.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide engagement efforts, including annual and pulse surveys, listening mechanisms, and feedback-to-action frameworks.
  • Champion internal storytelling, recognition, and values activation programs that elevate the employee experience.
  • Ensure cultural values are reflected across talent processes (onboarding, leadership development, performance, rewards).
  • Monitor key cultural and engagement indicators, report progress to leadership, and adjust strategies to drive sustained impact.
  • Represent the People & Culture function in strategic forums related to transformation, change, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in HR, Organizational Development, Business Psychology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in culture, engagement, or organizational development roles, including leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide cultural transformation and employee engagement strategies.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments with strong change and transformation agendas.
