- Media Technology manager will play a critical role in the successful implementation and operation of virtual production stages.
- This role collaborates closely with the technical and creative teams to ensure smooth execution of productions that utilize advanced XR, virtual reality, Augmented reality and real-time rendering technologies.
- The role demands leadership, technical, and project management skills to manage a multi-disciplinary team and deliver high-quality virtual production
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the XR stages.
- Lead a team of XR specialists, Unreal Engine operators, and other technical staff during the setup, shoot, and wrap of virtual production.
- Work with producers, directors, and creative teams to understand project goals and translate them into actionable production plans.
- Ensure all virtual production elements, including LED walls, camera tracking, and real-time rendering systems, are properly calibrated and functional.
- Monitor the integration of physical and virtual elements in real-time on set to ensure high-quality production output.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during virtual production and work closely with technical teams to resolve them.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to the virtual production crew.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of virtual production tools and technologies such as Unreal Engine, Disguise, Red Spy, and other XR systems.
- Manage schedules, timelines, and budgets for virtual production projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in media production, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in virtual production, with a proven track record of managing a virtual reality studio or similar environment.
- Total of 10 years experience in any related field with a proven track record of managing departments in the studio or similar environment.
