About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide first-line technical assistance to our staff. This role ensures that all employees have the tools and support they need to operate efficiently and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Install and configure computer systems and applications.
- Maintain IT inventory and log all support interactions and resolutions.
- Assist in setting up workstations and IT equipment for new employees.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the IT Administrator or external vendors.
- Provide basic training and guidance to staff on system usage and security practices.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support or helpdesk roles.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and desktop troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
