We invite applications for the role of Manager - IT Projects, where you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects that are essential to our vision. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management and a passion for achieving excellence in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex IT projects.
- Manage a team of project managers, business analysts, and other IT professionals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders on IT project initiatives.
- Ensure IT projects are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain the IT project portfolio and roadmap.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve project issues.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the project team.
- Collaborate with department heads and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Establish and maintain project governance processes and controls.
- Report on project status, budgets, and return on investment to executive leadership.
- Continually look for ways to improve project management processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IT project management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, particularly within IT.
- Proven expertise in managing complex IT projects from inception to completion.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering results.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is highly desirable.
