Alpheya is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern who will be a part of dynamic and extremely skilful AI team.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and contribute to software development across our technology stack through hands-on projects and mentored assignments
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand best practices in software development
  • Write clean, documented code while receiving guidance from senior team members
  • Participate in code reviews to learn from feedback and understand quality standards
  • Assist in testing and debugging of applications
  • Document your work and contribute to technical documentation
  • Take part in team meetings and agile ceremonies to understand our development process

Current stack:

  • Frontend: Next.js
  • Backend: Node.js (experience layer), Go (system layer), Python (AI)
  • APIs: GraphQL, gRPC
  • Other technologies: PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Flux, Azure, Github

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
  • Basic programming knowledge in any modern programming language
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Interest in software development best practices and coding standards
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Nice to have:
    1. Familiarity with any of the following: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go
    2. Previous project experience (personal, academic, or professional)
    3. Interest in fintech, banking, or wealth management

Duration: 4-12 weeks
