Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Banking Technical Support Specialist to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking systems and technologies, with proven experience in resolving technical issues, supporting core banking applications, and ensuring service continuity for financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd-level technical support for core banking platforms, online banking, and payment systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to application performance, user access, integration failures, and data inconsistencies.
- Monitor system alerts and logs, identify root causes, and apply corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal IT teams, and business users to escalate and resolve high-impact issues.
- Assist in testing and deploying new banking system features, updates, and patches.
- Prepare technical documentation, support guides, and training materials for IT and end-users.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL standards, change management processes, and service SLAs.
- Provide on-call support and after-hours troubleshooting when required.
