Role Overview:
The Qiddiya Investment Company, a key player in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, is seeking a Senior Manager for Strategic Procurement. This role is crucial in ensuring effective procurement practices for one of the nation's most ambitious giga projects, which aims to create a premier destination for entertainment, culture, and lifestyle.
The Senior Manager will develop and implement procurement strategies, focusing on major categories, optimizing costs, and ensuring high-quality supplier performance. This position will collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage supplier relationships to drive operational efficiencies and strategic procurement excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Category Strategy Development
· Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with Qiddiya’s objectives for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
· Analyze market trends and opportunities to leverage strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships.
2. Supplier Relationship Management
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
· Negotiate contracts and framework agreements to secure advantageous terms for the company.
3. Operational and Performance Management
· Oversee procurement operations, ensuring compliance with established strategies and business unit needs.
· Monitor and report on performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Engage with multiple stakeholders across the organization to align procurement strategies with overall project goals.
· Support local economic development efforts and help improve local supplier capabilities to meet Qiddiya's procurement needs.

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic procurement, especially within large-scale projects, with a focus on the construction or entertainment sectors.
· Proven track record of developing and implementing sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships.
· Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
· Experience in working within multicultural teams and a solid understanding of the local business landscape in Saudi Arabia.
· Certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are highly advantageous.
