Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Finance Management Officer to join our banking institution’s IT department. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in finance or financial planning roles, ideally within a banking or financial services environment, and a background in recruitment or HR coordination, particularly for technology functions.
This hybrid role is responsible for supporting IT financial operations, including budget tracking, cost optimization, and workforce planning, ensuring alignment between IT investments and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Financial Management & Budgeting
- Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and control of the annual IT budget and rolling forecasts.
- Track actual vs. budgeted spend for IT infrastructure, software, services, and personnel.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for IT leadership.
- Monitor CAPEX and OPEX related to IT initiatives in compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory standards.
Recruitment Support & Workforce Planning
- Work closely with HR and IT management to plan and coordinate recruitment for IT roles.
- Track headcount, contractor engagements, and associated hiring costs within the IT budget.
- Maintain and analyze workforce-related data to support hiring decisions and resource allocation.
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes with a focus on asset tracking and cost control.
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Support procurement processes for IT services, software, and infrastructure by managing financial documentation and tracking contracts.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payments, renewals, and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist with the financial evaluation of vendor proposals and support the RFP process as needed.
Regulatory Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure all financial records and processes related to IT comply with internal audit standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI, BASEL, SOX).
- Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries.
Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports for IT cost analysis.
- Provide data-driven insights to IT and Finance leadership to aid decision-making.
