Sarmad is looking for an accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy within the FinTech payments sector. As the CTO, you will be responsible for driving the technological vision and overseeing all technical aspects of our payments solutions. This role is critical in ensuring that our products are not only competitive in the market but also secure and compliant with regulations. We are seeking candidates from Saudi Arabia who possess deep expertise in technology and a passion for transforming the future of financial services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technology strategy and vision for the company, focusing on innovation in payment solutions.
- Oversee the development and deployment of secure and scalable payment systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other executive leaders to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards related to payments technology.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team through mentoring and professional development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the technology department.
- Represent the company in technology-related discussions with partners, regulators, and customers.

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within the FinTech or payments industry.
- Proven track record of leading product development and technology teams to success.
- Strong understanding of digital payment systems, payment gateways, and related technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and security standards in the financial services sector.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be a Saudi national or hold citizenship in Saudi Arabia.
