To work as part of the team supporting the central procurement activities of Electra, as directed by the Procurement Manager.

Main Duties:

  • Review/action purchase requests to ensure:  
  • The necessary authorizations are obtained to cut down on lead-time   
  • The appropriateness of the specifications and seeking clarification if/where required  
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely turnaround of approved PQs into POs (clarifying anything unclear on the PR&/r PQ with the team)  
  • Manage the sample requests & continuous update of sample library  
  • Negotiating commercial factors to achieve supply efficiency and effective cost control 
  • Influence vendors to meet requirements in terms of delivery time, conformance and QHSE standards, assist requesters regarding order fulfillment (delivery follow up) 
  • Engage with stakeholders to encourage vendors to prevent, detect and eradicate breaches of ethical standards. 
  • Ensure SLA targets are met for all major processes assigned  
  • Ensure departmental objectives are achieved  
  • Maintain business systems with accurate information to enable optimum department performance and reporting  
    • Responsible for compiling monthly reports, for example: open PO analysis, Monthly Dashboard, etc.  
    • Responsible for the vendor data management. 
    • Ensure adherence to all procurement SOPs to deliver enhanced control and performance 
    • Any other task, as reasonably requested, by Electra  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or High school degree
  • 1 year experience
  • English is a must
  • Knowledge in MS/Applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)  
  • Knowledge of ERP systems

    • You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.  
    • You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.  
    • You will perform all tasks set forth by safety regulations and cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and conditions that do not pose any risks in terms of health and safety.  
    • Reduce and monitor resource consumption as contribution to reduce environmental aspects and impacts.
