The Role:

As a PR Account Director, you will lead client relationships, shape media strategies, and drive communications campaigns that deliver real impact. At the same time, you will play a key role in the agency’s growth strategy—supporting new business pitches, responding to RFPs, and representing the agency at networking events and industry forums. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to craft proposals, build relationships, and elevate Gen Plus Group’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Campaign Leadership

    • Lead and manage a portfolio of high-profile consumer clients, delivering strategic communications and PR solutions tailored to the GCC market.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring consistent delivery, proactive counsel, and measurable results.
  • Develop high-impact communication materials, including press releases, executive commentary, briefing documents, and media kits.
  • Monitor media trends and industry developments to proactively identify opportunities and risks for clients.
  • Oversee and guide junior team members, ensuring quality control, growth, and collaboration.

RFP & New Business Strategy

  • Drive the development of RFP responses and new business proposals, working closely with internal stakeholders on positioning, content, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with leadership on pitch strategy, including storytelling, case study development, and delivery formats.
  • Support end-to-end pitch process management—from initial contact and needs assessment to proposal submission and client follow-up.
  • Maintain and update agency credentials, bios, and success stories for use in business development efforts.

Business Development & Networking

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business leads through industry research, relationship-building, and referrals.
  • Represent Gen Plus Group at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to expand visibility and connect with potential clients or partners.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders that can lead to business opportunities.
  • Work with leadership to forecast and track business development efforts, conversions, and revenue pipeline.
