SWATX is looking for a skilled RedHat App Modernization Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for modernizing applications using RedHat technologies and methodologies, transforming legacy applications into containerized microservices that can be orchestrated with Kubernetes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing applications, design modern architectures, and implement effective migration strategies.
Your expertise in RedHat OpenShift, along with a deep understanding of cloud-native principles, will drive our efforts to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance of our applications. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as an App Modernization Engineer or similar role focused on RedHat technologies.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of RedHat OpenShift and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Application Development: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architecture.
- Development Methodologies: Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
- Certifications: Must be Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development
