About the Client:
Our client is a Dubai-based logistics and freight forwarding company with over 20 years of experience and a strong presence across the GCC and global markets. They offer end-to-end solutions including air, sea, and land freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and project cargo, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Job Purpose:
The role is accountable for achieving revenue and profitability targets for the Freight Forwarding and Logistics business unit. The ideal candidate must be based in Dubai and will be responsible for the complete management and performance of the profit center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Freight Forwarding & Logistics operations in both UAE and international markets
- Lead warehouse marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for growth across GCC countries
- Acquire new clients while developing and retaining existing customer accounts
- Execute sales strategies focused on increasing revenue and profitability
- Understand and apply 3PL/4PL logistics concepts in daily operations
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and build a strong global presence
- Establish strong relationships with clients, vendors, industry peers, and competitors
- Ensure profitability on all new contracts, aligned with service levels and client expectations
- Stay updated with market trends through research and customer visits
- Maintain high customer service standards and ensure total client satisfaction
- Adhere to company systems, policies, and regulatory compliance standards
- Respond to sales inquiries from domestic and international clients within 24 hours
- Manage end-to-end sales and marketing activities
- Provide weekly sales updates to the Executive Director/Head
- Analyze and report sales and marketing metrics to management
