Data Infrastructure Engineer

Our Data Platform team is responsible for designing, scaling, and maintaining the backbone that empowers internal teams and customer-facing applications with reliable, high-performance data systems.

As a Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on complex challenges—from scaling distributed systems and optimizing data pipelines, to building highly available services that power critical business decisions. This role requires a blend of infrastructure engineering, systems thinking, and a strong foundation in data technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Design and Build Scalable Systems: Architect and implement distributed data infrastructure including compute, orchestration, streaming, and storage systems.
• Performance and Reliability: Ensure our platforms can handle large-scale data processing with low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• DevOps Excellence: Work with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Empower Engineering Teams: Develop internal tooling and infrastructure capabilities to enable data scientists, analysts, and engineers to move faster and safer.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product, analytics, and platform teams to build reliable foundations for data products and services.
• Support and On-Call: Participate in a shared on-call rotation to ensure the operational excellence and health of the systems you build.
