The Qiddiya Investment Company stands at the forefront of developing an innovative leisure and entertainment destination as part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative. As the Manager – Technology Procurement, you will play a vital role in overseeing the strategic sourcing and procurement of technology-related goods and services essential for the successful operations of this expansive project. This position requires a keen understanding of vendor management, contract negotiation, and the ability to implement procurement strategies that drive both quality and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy Development

  • Design and execute comprehensive procurement strategies tailored to the technology needs of Qiddiya Investment Company, with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including market analysis, RFP development, and supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations throughout the procurement cycle.
  • Manage the assessment, selection, and performance evaluation of technology vendors to enhance value and minimize risk.

2. Contract Management and Compliance

  • Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring all agreements meet business requirements and standards.
  • Maintain a thorough documentation process for all procurement activities, ensuring transparency and accessibility of information.
  • Regularly review and optimize contracts to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with broader organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on procurement performance, including budget adherence and savings achieved.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology procurement, contract negotiation, or similar roles.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certifications (such as CIPS) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement software and e-sourcing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regional market trends and suppliers in the technology sector is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
