We are looking for a motivated Manager - Waste Management to join our team and lead waste management initiatives across our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing effective waste management strategies that align with our sustainability objectives and regulatory requirements.
Your expertise will be crucial in managing waste reduction, recycling, and disposal processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement waste management plans that adhere to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze waste generation trends and implement strategies to minimize waste across all projects.
- Work closely with project teams to integrate waste management practices into project planning and operations.
- Conduct waste audits and assessments to identify opportunities for recycling, reuse, and reduction.
- Oversee the selection and management of waste management contractors to ensure service efficiency and compliance.
- Educate and train staff on waste management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain waste management reports, highlighting metrics and progress towards sustainability goals.
- Engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure alignment with waste management regulations.
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative practices in waste management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience in waste management or sustainability, preferably in a project management role.
- Knowledge of waste management regulations and sustainability practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data related to waste generation and reduction.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
- Proficiency in waste management software and reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
