Job Summary:
The Finance Specialist provides focused financial analysis and reconciliation support across the program. This role ensures the accuracy and consistency of financial data between Ares PRISM, SAP, and other systems, supporting budget management, payment tracking, and financial compliance. The Finance Specialist works closely with the Associate Director – Finance to prepare detailed financial reports, support audits, and strengthen the program’s financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly reconciliations between SAP, PRISM, and other systems to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Track payment cycles, invoice status, and cash flow against budget forecasts.
  • Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and budget summaries for senior leadership.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial controls, processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Assist in preparing audit documentation and ensuring readiness for internal or external reviews.
  • Collaborate with the cost and commercial teams to align financial data with project performance metrics.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, project finance, or financial controls.
  • Familiarity with SAP (especially FI/CO modules), Ares PRISM, or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of project-based accounting and financial governance practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
