Role Summary

We are looking for a high-performing Operations Manager to lead, automate and scale our operations. This role demands a detail-oriented, proactive leader with deep expertise in financial operations, banking systems, and process automation. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, and maintaining the integrity of all financial transactions. You will also serve as a key liaison with external partners, including banks and asset managers.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management 

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team with clear KPIs and accountability
• Step in to directly support operational execution during high-volume or critical periods
• Foster a culture of ownership, precision, and continuous improvement

Operational Strategy & Execution

• Take independent, well-informed decisions with appropriate escalation when required
• Anticipate operational bottlenecks and implement effective, scalable solutions
• Manage end-to-end transaction flow across customer accounts, fund accounts, and partner systems

Banking Operations & Transactions

• Monitor and execute all banking operations, ensuring real-time alignment between Menthum systems and partner bank platforms.
• Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all mutual fund transactions and customer account activities.

System & Process Optimization

• Identify, propose, and implement automation opportunities and process improvements
• Work cross-functionally to enhance operational workflows and reduce risk
• Lead operational readiness for system upgrades or new feature rollouts

Reconciliation & Controls

• Perform daily reconciliations between Menthum systems and banking/fund partners
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with precision and urgency
• Maintain thorough documentation to support audits and compliance reviews

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise effectively with external partners including banks, asset management firms, and fund administrators
• Ensure high-quality, timely communication and issue resolution with stakeholders

Compliance & Risk Management

• Enforce strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Anticipate operational risks and proactively implement control measures

Reporting & Strategic Insights

• Deliver actionable operational reports and insights to senior leadership
• Analyze operational metrics to identify trends and recommend strategic initiatives
