Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning Intern to join our eCom team. This role will directly support the eCom Planning Manager in a wide variety of operational and analytical tasks that are critical to the success of our sales, forecasting, and inventory planning processes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced beauty business while learning the fundamentals of commercial and operational planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Sales & Reporting Support 

  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. 
  • Support in compiling and sharing daily inventory status reports to monitor stock levels and identify gaps. 
  • Consolidate sales and forecast data monthly for S&OP planning and inputs into FuturMaster. 
  • Help analyze sales performance against forecast and identify key product trends. 

Forecasting & Inventory Management 

  • Assist in gathering and organizing forecast data for new product launches and ongoing SKUs. 
  • Track submitted vs. outstanding forecasts and ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Monitor and update inbound inventory status for newness and ensure alignment with launch schedules. 
  • Help maintain the out-of-stock tracker and provide regular updates on back-in-stock ETAs. 

Project & Promotion Support 

  • Assist in aligning promotional activities with inventory availability and marketing calendar. 
  • Help identify GWP (Gift With Purchase) and sampling strategies based on stock and budget. 
  • Support development of virtual bundles including SKU selection, pricing, and mechanics. 
  • Manage and update site assortment including discontinued and new assortment rollouts. 
  • Contribute to additional cross-functional projects as required. 

Requirements: 

  • Experience and familiarity with retail mathematics and analyzing large data sets, blending data from a variety of sources 
  • Strong excel skills and proven ability to build reporting dashboards from scratch 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Team player willing to wear many hats and thrives in a scrappy environment.
