The Virtual Platforms Systems Engineer at 700Apps will be integral to our efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative virtualized solutions that accommodate our clients' needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and robust systems integration, automation, and virtualization within our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage virtualization solutions utilizing technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of virtual systems with existing infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize virtualized environments for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement automation strategies to streamline system processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the configuration and management of virtual networks, including security protocols and firewall settings.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to virtual systems, ensuring minimal downtime and swift restoration of services.
- Document configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference and compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to virtualization and cloud computing.

متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in managing and configuring VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (such as VMware Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are preferred.
