AHS, a respected real estate firm, is seeking a meticulous and organized Family Office Accountant to manage the accounting and financial reporting for our operations. The Family Office Accountant will provide essential support in maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role is critical for ensuring the financial health and strategic management of the family office’s assets.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee all personal financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts; monitor performance against targets.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with UAE and international tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, and financial institutions.
- Monitor daily cash flow and manage liquidity to meet financial obligations and investment opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Track and reconcile investment portfolios, real estate holdings, and other personal assets.
- Manage insurance policies, renewals, and claims related to personal and family assets.
- Oversee personal banking activities, credit card reconciliations, and loan management.
- Support estate planning, trust administration, and succession planning in coordination with legal advisors.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling all financial and personal matters.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by the principal or family members.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, financial regulations, and investment trends relevant to the family office.

- Handle all expenses and financial planning related to yacht ownership and maintenance.
- Manage travel arrangements, including flight bookings, visa coordination, and itinerary budgeting.
- Oversee hotel and luxury accommodation bookings for the principal and family.
- Track and manage expenses related to a fleet of personal and luxury vehicles, including maintenance, insurance, and registration.
- Manage household budgets and expenses for personal residences, including staff payroll, utilities, and renovations.
