About the role

As Flat6Labs Junior Accountant, you will work closely with the finance team to support the accurate and timely recording of financial data and help ensure compliance with internal controls.

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with early accounting experience who is eager to gain practical exposure to daily financial operations, reconciliations, and general ledger management.

Main Responsibilities:
                       

• General Accounting
• Record daily journal entries and assist with maintaining the general ledger.
• Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment requests, and petty cash claims.
• Support the monthly and quarterly closing process.
  
• Reconciliation & Documentation
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update accounting files and records in an organized manner.
  
• Support in Reporting
• Assist in preparing internal reports and financial summaries as requested.
• Provide data and documentation support during internal reviews and external audits.
  
• Compliance & Controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
