Summary
As the Global E-Commerce Product Manager and reporting to the Global E-commerce Director, you will be responsible for the strategy, creation, and continuous improvement of our e-commerce website. You will work cross-functionally with our tech agency, our Marketing, IT and Operations teams, and external partners to ensure a seamless and engaging online shopping experience. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, customer-centric thinking, and business acumen to drive e-commerce growth and brand innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Website Development & Evolution
- Define and execute the product roadmap for the global e-commerce platform, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Lead website development projects, including new features, optimizations, and international expansion efforts.
- Partner with e-commerce and digital marketing teams to enhance site performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Oversee A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to improve site functionality and engagement.
Customer Experience & UX Optimization
- Own the end-to-end user journey, ensuring an intuitive, engaging, and luxury brand-aligned experience.
- Optimize the mobile and desktop experience with a focus on personalization, accessibility, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Collaborate with content and design teams to maintain a visually compelling and on-brand digital experience.
E-Commerce Strategy & Performance
- Develop strategies to drive sales, customer retention, and brand storytelling through the website.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, average order value, bounce rates…) to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement SEO and site merchandising best practices to maximize visibility and engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure localization and alignment with global e-commerce strategies.
- Manage external vendors, agencies, and platform providers to execute e-commerce initiatives.
- Align e-commerce initiatives with broader omnichannel strategies, including in-store experiences and digital marketing campaigns.
Technology & Innovation
- Stay ahead of e-commerce trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to innovate and refine the online experience.
- Identify and implement AI-driven personalization, AR/VR experiences, and interactive shopping features where relevant.
- Ensure website security, compliance, and scalability in collaboration with IT teams.
