About The Role
We are looking for a User-Experience (UX) / User-Interface (UI) lead designer to work alongside our core team and spearhead the strategy and design for a high-profile government program.
The ideal candidate will be able to understand business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting Design Thinking workshops to generate ideas alongside the client to establish a shared understanding, and translating that into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end UX/UI strategy, design, and experience of a high-profile government program’s core application.
- Define and drive a clear design vision that aligns with global best practices and user-first principles.
- Collaborate with internal design and product teams to ensure alignment across brand, standards, and experience.
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors responsible for application design and development.
- Conduct reviews, challenge assumptions, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery from all design stakeholders.
- Champion the voice of the user throughout all phases of the design and development cycles.
- Support and influence senior-level stakeholders.
