We are seeking an accomplished ARM Risk Manager to join our team, bringing expertise in enterprise risk management and leadership to support one of the world's most ambitious stadium projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing risks on highly challenging infrastructure projects and a proven ability to deliver robust risk management strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on the groundbreaking Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead comprehensive risk management across all aspects of the $1 billion MBS Stadium project, ensuring successful delivery of this cliff-top engineering marvel.
Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk assessment and treatment strategies covering technical, commercial, environmental, and operational risks.
Create and maintain dynamic risk registers and governance frameworks for the 45,000-seat stadium featuring retractable roof, pitch, and LED wall integration.
Assess and mitigate complex engineering risks associated with construction at 200-meter elevation on the Tuwaiq cliff edge.
Collaborate with international design team (Populous) and construction consortium (FCC Construction/Nesma & Partners) on risk coordination.
Interface with FIFA compliance requirements and World Cup delivery standards to ensure venue readiness for 2034.
Manage stakeholder relationships across PIF, government entities, regulatory bodies, and operational partners.
Develop crisis response protocols, business continuity planning, and comprehensive contingency strategies.
Establish early warning systems and escalation procedures for potential project disruptions.
Lead risk communication and reporting to executive leadership and project stakeholders. processes.

- Minimum of 10+ years of risk management experience on large-scale infrastructure projects ($500M+ value).
- Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation required.
- Essential experience in heavy engineering projects, long-span bridges, oil & gas megaprojects, or complex infrastructure in challenging environments.
- Proven track record managing risks on projects with international construction consortiums and complex stakeholder environments.
- Professional engineering license, chartered engineer status, or additional risk certifications (PMP, CPCU, FRM) preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of quantitative and qualitative risk assessment methodologies and risk management software.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC preferred), project scheduling, and critical path analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively convey risk strategies to C-suite executives and technical teams.
- Experience with Saudi Arabian construction environment and FIFA/IOC venue standards preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Risk Management, or related field required.
