Job Purpose:
To create original and visually appealing carpet designs that align with market trends, brand identity, and customer preferences, ensuring high quality and manufacturability of the final product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and artistic carpet designs using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, NedGraphics, or similar tools.
- Research global trends in carpet design, patterns, textures, and color schemes.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings including color specifications, dimensions, weaving or tufting patterns.
- Collaborate with the production team to convert digital designs into tangible products.
- Develop and test design samples with manufacturers or suppliers.
- Revise designs based on feedback from clients or internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a well-organized digital archive of past and current designs.
- Ensure designs meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and technical requirements.
- Support the preparation of design presentations for clients or trade exhibitions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Textile Design, Applied Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in carpet or textile design (preferably in a production environment).
- Proficiency in graphic design software and digital illustration tools.
- Strong understanding of textile materials, weaving techniques, and color theory.
- High artistic sense and creativity in combining patterns and colors.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
