Role Overview
The AI R&D Consultant will lead advanced research and development initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, focusing on cutting-edge technologies and their applications across multiple industries. This role involves designing and testing innovative AI algorithms, developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and applying AI to address complex, large-scale challenges at both organizational and national levels. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate AI research into scalable solutions that drive strategic impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research on emerging AI technologies and trends to identify new opportunities.
- Design, develop, and test AI algorithms across domains such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision.
- Build, deploy, and continuously improve AI Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot projects.
- Apply AI techniques to solve nation-scale and industry-specific challenges.
- Explore and implement solutions in specialized areas: Generative AI, Agentic AI, RPA, OSINT, GEOINT, and other advanced AI fields.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define AI strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Publish research findings, whitepapers, and technical documentation for knowledge sharing and innovation leadership.
- Provide expert consultation to guide business units and clients on adopting AI-driven solutions.
- Stay updated with cutting-edge AI tools, platforms, and frameworks, and evaluate their integration into ongoing projects.
- Mentor junior AI engineers and data scientists in R&D best practices and methodologies.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in AI research and development.
- Proven expertise in:
- Machine Learning (ML) & Deep Learning (DL)
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Computer Vision
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Generative AI & Agentic AI
- OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) & GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence)
- Strong record of developing and deploying AI-driven applications and PoCs.
- Solid programming skills (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex, large-scale AI challenges.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of driving innovation across teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in government, defense, or national-scale AI projects.
- Published research or contributions in AI journals/conferences.
- Advanced certifications in AI/ML, Cloud, or related technologies.
