We are in search of a qualified Civil Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience in the field. Applicants for this position must be currently residing in the Kingdom and hold a valid Engineer designation on their residency permit.
**Key Skills and Technical Expertise:**
- **Structural Design and Analysis:** In-depth knowledge of the principles of designing and analyzing various types of metal structures, including warehouses, factories, bridges, and multi-storey buildings.
- **Design and Analysis Software:** Proficient use of specialized structural design and analysis programs such as: STAAD Pro, SAP2000, and ETABS for structural analysis and design.
- **Engineering Drafting:** Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit for engineering drawing and preparation of construction plans.
- **Structural Detailing:** Familiarity with Tekla Structures for detailing and manufacturing of metal structures.
- **Standards and Codes:** Comprehensive understanding of local and international codes and standards for designing metal structures (e.g., American Code AISC and Eurocode).
- **Project Phases:** A thorough understanding of all project stages from preliminary design to the preparation of execution drawings, including fabrication and installation on-site.
**Supervisory and Management Skills:**
- **Project Management:** Ability to plan projects, create schedules, and monitor progress using software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- **On-site Supervision:** Experience in directly supervising installation work on-site, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
- **Quality and Safety:** Ensure implementation of quality and safety standards throughout all project stages, identifying potential hazards and taking preventive measures.
