Works independently taking full responsibility for a certain area within Business Analysis. Primary role in Business Analysis acting as a key interface between the technical project team and user communities. This position serves as a liaison between the technical team and subject matter experts/end users.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Conducting stakeholder interviews and workshops
- Eliciting, documenting, and managing functional and non-functional requirements
- Translating business needs into clear specifications
- Stakeholder Management
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Managing expectations and resolving conflicts
- Building relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Process Modeling & Improvement
- Creating AS-IS and TO-BE process maps using tools like BPMN or flowcharts
- Identifying process gaps and suggesting improvements
- Documentation & Specification
- Writing clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, and User Stories
- Maintaining traceability matrices
- Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving
- Breaking down complex problems
- Evaluating solutions and impacts
Qualifications
Essential:
- 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience as Business Analyst
- Excellent/Fluent Command in written and spoken English language
- Flexible to work onsite, or from home or from the client's site
- Tools Proficiency
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Requirements and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Agile & SDLC Understanding
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Understanding of Waterfall and hybrid SDLC approaches
- Familiar with ISTQB
- Insurance domain knowledge is a plus (not a must)
- Fluency in German is a major plus (not a must)
