Job Description

  • Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies aligned with project goals and corporate policies.
  • Prepare procurement plans, including timelines, sourcing strategies, and budget estimates.
  • Manage the tendering process for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services — from RFQ/RFP to bid evaluation and award.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best value and minimize risk.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards.
  • Monitor vendor and supplier performance, addressing issues related to quality, cost, delivery, and service.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, logistics, and finance teams to coordinate purchasing activities.
  • Oversee purchase order creation, approval workflows, and ERP system updates.
  • Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards, legal requirements, and environmental/social governance (ESG) criteria.
