Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Design Manager to join our growing Residential Development team. This role is pivotal in guiding the design and execution of residential projects that are integral to our vision of creating a renowned lifestyle destination.
The Senior Design Manager will oversee all architectural aspects, from concept design through to project completion, ensuring that our residential offerings meet high standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability. You will collaborate with various stakeholders including urban planners, engineers, and contractors to deliver exceptional residential developments that enhance the community experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process for residential projects, ensuring compliance with project objectives, budgets, and schedules.
- Develop innovative architectural designs that align with Qiddiya’s vision, blending aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site analysis to inform the design process and address potential challenges.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and MEP engineers to ensure aesthetic and functional integration.
- Prepare design briefs, scope of work, and deliverable requirements for architects and external design consultants.
- Review and provide feedback on design documents, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project goals.
- Facilitate design presentations and workshops with stakeholders, effectively communicating design concepts and changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to inform design decisions.
- Manage design consultants and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of design packages and compliance with the approved design vision.
- Prepare regular reports on design progress and present to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations promoting residential projects.

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in architectural design, specifically within residential or mixed-use development projects.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating innovative residential designs and successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in architectural software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and building codes.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and a passion for innovative and environmentally friendly architecture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
