About the Role:

SteelCon Egypt is a leading steel construction company delivering high-quality, innovative structural and industrial solutions. We are looking for a Steel Detailer Engineer to join our growing technical team and take charge of producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings that turn design concepts into reality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings using advanced CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Review and validate drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
• Manage drawing workflows and coordinate with other team members for consistency and quality.
• Provide guidance and support to junior detailers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Interpret complex technical specifications and engineering documents with precision.
  
  
  

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in technical detailing, preferably in steel structures or industrial/architectural steel projects.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit).
• CAD certification (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of engineering principles, detailing standards, and spatial visualization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and precision in design work.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
