About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Node.js to join our development team. You will help build, maintain, and optimize APIs and backend services that power our applications. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend logic using Node.js and Express.js

Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements

Write clean, scalable, and efficient code

Participate in code reviews and testing

Troubleshoot and debug backend issues

Work with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Follow Agile development methodologies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and Express.js

Familiarity with database technologies like MongoDB or SQL

Knowledge of version control (Git)

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Working Conditions:

Working Days: Sunday to Thursday

Days Off: Friday and Saturday

Work Style: Hybrid (mix of remote and office work)

Office Location: Zamalek, Cairo
