Mid/Senior Scrum Master

Job Summary

An experienced Scrum Master with 4+ years of proven experience in agile project management

(understanding of payment solutions a plus).

The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring that the Scrum process is adhered to helping

teams to improve their workflow and collaborate effectively to deliver high-quality software

solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles.
• Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize the product backlog and define clear sprint goals.
• Assist in removing impediments that block the team’s progress and ensure the team can operate smoothly.
• Guide teams in self-organization and fostering an agile mindset.
• Monitor and report on the progress of sprint goals and ensure successful sprint completion.
• Maintain a healthy team dynamic, promoting collaboration and addressing conflicts.
• Ensure that user stories are clearly defined and estimated properly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and DevOps to improve process efficiency.
• Track, manage, and communicate sprint metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to stakeholders.
• Coach the team to adopt best practices in Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Continuously look for ways to improve team performance and processes.
  
  

Required Skills

• Experience in payment solutions or the financial technology (FinTech) industry is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and their implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, or other project management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  
  

Other Preferences

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is a plus.
• Understanding of software development practices, especially in payment gateways, transaction processing, or digital wallets.
• Experience in coaching teams through digital transformation and adoption of Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
