Job Overview
We require an experienced Accountant with 5+ years’ experience to manage our financial records, ensure compliance, and support business decisions through accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and other financial laws in UAE
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare reports for management and external auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities
- 5+ years accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
