We are in search of an accomplished Pre-Sales Techno Commercial Consultant who possesses substantial expertise in Data Engineering, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), Prototyping, and management consulting. The perfect candidate will integrate extensive technical proficiency with strategic business insight, facilitating effective client engagement, spearheading solution design, and boosting sales initiatives for intricate data and AI projects.

  • Pre-Sales Engagement:
    • Collaborate with sales teams to grasp client challenges, business objectives, and technical needs.
    • Facilitate discovery and solution workshops with clients, utilizing top management consulting practices.
    • Develop customized solutions centered around data pipelines, ML workflows, and deployment strategies.
  • Solution Prototyping:
    • Create swift prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to showcase solution viability and business impact.
    • Leverage prototyping tools and cloud platforms to dynamically present capabilities.
  • Technical Presentations & Demos:
    • Deliver engaging demos and technical presentations that resonate with both technical and executive clientele.
    • Prepare reusable assets to streamline sales processes.
  • Proposal & Documentation:
    • Compose detailed technical proposals, architectural solutions, and commercial frameworks.
    • Work cross-departmentally with delivery, finance, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive collaboration.
  • MLOps and Data Infrastructure Advisory:
    • Offer specialized advice on data engineering, model lifecycle management, CI/CD for ML models, monitoring, and retraining.
    • Advocate for leading tools and platforms including Kubeflow, MLflow, Airflow, and various cloud services.
  • Stakeholder & Client Management:
    • Establish trusted advisor relationships with client executives and technical teams.
    • Utilize management consulting background to lead strategic conversations and influence decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a similar discipline.
  • 5+ years of cumulative experience in management consulting and pre-sales/solution engineering, ideally in data/ML sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of data engineering, machine learning, and prototyping.
  • Proficient with:
    • MLOps frameworks and tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC, etc.
    • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
    • Data pipeline orchestration: Airflow, Kafka, Spark, etc.
    • DevOps/MLOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical subjects in business terms.
  • Documented history of managing both commercial and technical dimensions of complex sales funnels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with B2B SaaS or consulting services concentrated on data and AI.
  • Relevant experience in finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or comparable industries.
  • Applicable certifications like AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure Data Engineer, or PMP.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
