Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records of all financial transactions.
Assist in preparing and maintaining accounting ledgers and reconciling bank statements.
Prepare and post journal entries to ensure proper recording of business transactions.
Support in cost accounting activities, including expense tracking and preparation of cost reports.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Assist during internal and external audits, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance team.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and cost accounting practices.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) is an advantage.
Skills
Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
