Contracts and Bidding Engineer (Construction)

Pro Builder is seeking an experienced Contracts and Bidding Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with extensive experience in construction contracts and bidding within the building projects sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage tender documents and contract proposals for various building projects.
• Conduct thorough analyses of project specifications, drawings, and contract terms to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop accurate project budgets and estimates.
• Evaluate contractor bids and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Assist in negotiations and contract finalizations with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize BIM and other engineering software to enhance project documentation and bidding processes.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• BSc in Civil Engineering from a reputable university; a master's or diploma in construction contracts and bidding is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience as a Contracts and Bidding Engineer in a contracting or construction firm.
• Proven experience with building projects, including preparation of tender documents and bids.
• Proficient in BIM, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite, with a well-rounded knowledge of other engineering software.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
