Mechanical Draftsman

Rawafid is seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Mechanical Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed mechanical drawings and layouts to assist in project development. Your expertise in drafting tools and attention to detail will play a crucial role in producing designs that meet the requirements and standards of our various projects. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that drawings are completed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of pumping stations, STP, WTP, and any piping or pipeline tasks.
• Developing plan and cross sections for the required piping and pipelines works.
• Coordinating drawings with other disciplines 4. Develop drawings/models using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Revit.
• Prepare mechanical layouts, general arrangements and section drawings for mechanical systems pumping systems, firefighting, ventilation, HVAC etc.
• Export the data as a DXF or SHP file.
• Collaborate with process engineers and mechanical engineers to translate their concepts into clear, precise drawings.
• Create 3D models in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit to represent existing equipment, including pipe supports, routes, and fittings.
• Prepare bill of quantity for the piping.
• Prepare isometric drawings.
• Preparing shop drawings.
• Preparing as built drawings
