Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Storekeeper
Are you a dependable and detail-oriented individual with experience in inventory handling and warehouse operations? Join Ali & Sons Group – Motors Division as an Assistant Storekeeper, where you’ll support the efficient flow, storage, and documentation of spare parts inventory. In this vital role, you’ll work closely with the Procurement & Stores Manager to maintain accuracy, organization, and accountability within the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Storekeeper with picking, packing, and preparing parts for issue or dispatch.
Place incoming parts in designated bins, racks, or storage areas, including large/bulky items.
Maintain accurate labeling and identity of storage locations for efficient tracking.
Identify and report slow-moving or defective parts to the Procurement & Stores Manager.
Support periodic stocktaking activities by counting and recording inventory.
Assist in compiling records and documentation related to inventory movement.
Carry out other related duties as assigned by the Procurement & Stores Manager.
Key Stakeholders:
Internal Clients: Workshop Staff
External Clients: Suppliers
Requirements:
Education: Diploma in Material Management or a related field (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a comparable store or warehouse environment
Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
