Purpose of the job

Developing competitive analysis, support in the business planning creation and strategic business cases.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Support in building and maintaining a planning model used in the preparation of the company business plan.

2. Monitor and forecast the strategic influence of new commercial programs on the company business plan, budget and any other commercial planning model.

3. Support the development and update of departmental database including statistics and trends that are necessary for the successful implementation of the business plan.

4. Align with stakeholders strategic changes and future plans, to integrate related costs within the business plan

5. Assist in forecasting cost elements for the business plan.

6. Ensure model captures changes that may occur in the business and key strategic initiatives.

7. Incorporate strategic roadmap agreed by management within the planning model.

8. Conduct meeting with management to agree final figures, incorporate changes needed.

9. Support in preparing the business plan presentation.

10. Analyze & forecast market sizing & Industry potential value

11. Conduct competitive analysis using all available official and intelligent sources of information to identify competitor strategies, strengths & weaknesses and propose Orange proactive response/s.

12. Act as a competitive intelligence agent; highlighting and analyzing key performance gaps vs. competition and possible business reasons.

13. Produce to the management/board quarterly competitive analysis.

14. Update and improve the regular competitive analysis exercise.

15. Support in designing and building a financial model for the strategic business case.

16. Produce the business case, sensitivity analysis, risks, opportunities and recommendations.

Job specification

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.


Experience

  • Minimum 4 Years Experience In The Same Function.
