HR Generalist (Arabic Speaker)

Our client, a leading Financial Services firm in DIFC are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join the Team.

This role will be pivotal in supporting various human resources functions within the organization. Reporting to the VP of HR, the HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, with expertise in onshore labour law and extensive knowledge of GDRFA, payroll management, recruitment, GPSSA, visa processes, within financial services. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and optimizing HR processes to support the company's objectives and will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Source candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, and professional networks.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Process payroll administration and ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries, allowances, and benefits.
  • Liaise with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) to manage visa processes for employees.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with GPSSA (General Pension and Social Security Authority) requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure alignment between HR policies and overall business objectives.
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Identify training and development needs based on performance evaluations and individual career goals.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops, both internally and externally.
  • Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with specific expertise in onshore labor law and UAE regulations.
  • Experience in managing payroll, recruitment, visa processes (GDRFA portal), and compliance with GPSSA (portal) requirements and using MoHRE
  • Proficiency in HRIS software
  • Understanding of Financial services organizational practices an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
