Our client is one of the world leading companies in packaging solutions and is renowned throughout the world for producing plastic packaging of the highest quality. 23,300 employees work across 47 countries in 196 production plants to produce high-quality plastic packaging for brands in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, oil and lubricant, home, and beauty care industries.

They are currently Lunching their Shared Service Center and looking to hire General Accounting Team Leader (GL) - French/ Turkish speaker.

GL Team is responsible to support with financial planning and analysis, management reporting, accounting reporting, budgeting, forecasting, special projects, and general accounting affairs of the organization. Performs and reviews financial analyses of the business, as requested and needed

▪ Establish, lead and further develop the General Accounting team including General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Consolidation with around 6 employees in Cairo

▪ Actively contribute and ensure successful G/L transitions into the new organizational unit

▪ Monitoring and execution of general ledger accounting, esp. month-end closing and annual financial statements

▪ Monitoring, execution and optimization of G/L account reconciliation

▪ Manage the G/L and Asset Accounting operations within the organizational unit in accordance with the strategic goals and corporate guidance

▪ Clarify relevant issues with the national and international responsible departments

▪ Execution of the standard reports stored in D365 to ensure the correctness of the postings

▪ Ensuring the posting of bank account statements, as well as monitoring the payment clearing accounts and cash clearing accounts

▪ Preparation of intercompany payment runs, as well as intercompany reconciliation

• Additional experience in ERP is beneficial.

• University degree in Accounting / Finance or related studies

• Minimum 5 Years of Practical Experience in General Accounting

• Leadership Experience is Preferred

• Service Hub Experience

• Fluent in English and Arabic

• French or Turkish is a MUST
