Design Intern (Egypt)

That’s where you come in. We need a Design Intern to join our remote team in Nigeria on a 3-6 month internship. You’ll work as part of a global, vibrant team with colleagues across Nigeria and in countries including Egypt, USA, UK, Sweden, Portugal and Spain.

What you’ll do

• Learn about working in a fast-paced, agile and modern marketing team that strives for world-class quality in everything we do.
• Work alongside our two in-house designers to create compelling graphics for our marketing output.
• Receive mentorship and guidance on how to make your designs really wow different audiences by people whose design work is regularly seen by hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people.
• Opportunity to get to grips with industry-leading software including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Get experience in a range of design disciplines from digital channels like social media posts and, ads and digital one-pagers through to printed PDFs and offline disciplines such as print and billboards.
• Opportunity to learn about areas of design you might be less familiar with, including illustration, animation, video production.
• See what it’s like working within the framework an exciting new visual look and feel that we’ve developed into brand guidelines that are fresh, vibrant and fun.

What you’ll need to thrive

• Whether you’re a graduate or taught yourself, the most crucial thing is that you have an eye for great design.
• A portfolio with examples of your design work, whether for real clients or mock ups.
• An understanding of the fundamentals of good design as it relates to layouts, fonts and colours.
• Ability to express your creativity while working within our brand guidelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Our design team is growing so you need to know how to play well with others!
• Ability to find your way around Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on constructive, supportive feedback from the rest of the design team.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise your work effectively.
